Logistics:
The closet airport is John Wayne or Orange County the code is SNA. It's about 20 minutes from my house.
If you live in a Jet Blue city, the Long Beach airport (LGB) is only about 45 minutes away and sometimes you can get killer deals on Jet Blue.
LAX, Ontario and San Diego airports area are all within about 60-65 miles from me, and certainly doable if the flights are much cheaper.
The closest lodging to the [ b ] pad is the Holiday Inn in Laguna Hills. The Fairfield Inn by Marriott is also pretty close. For you fancy folks, the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis and Montage Resort are all within a 15 -20 minute drive.
