About Colleen Bell

The art of photography has been a 20-year process for me and I find that I still learn something new everyday! I have learned that photography is made up of hundreds of split second decisions that are intuitive and capture moments that become long lasting memories. My style of photography comes from many years of working for my guide and mentor in a very creative and warm studio. I have learned that I love the view from the back of a camera, warm rich colors and natural light. I love creating a story from various angles and light and seeing the view from a wide shot, tight shot, and medium shot. I love the details of an event. I love the essence of the location and the gems of the day that create a complete story.
