Early in college I took a black & white photography course that was by far the most fun I had in a class. Next thing I knew, I was doing freelance photography for Rutgers University! Along the way I learned how to tell visual stories and graduated with a degree in Film.
When word got out to family, I became everyone's official photographer. Capturing moments for future generations became very rewarding, so I decided to build a career.
Since 2006 I have worked for a renowned wedding studio and have helped shoot hundreds of special events. I love weddings because they involve photographing people, landscapes & architecture, all of which I thoroughly enjoy. I was very involved in the planning process of my own wedding and would have photographed it if I could. :)
My photographic style is a mix of photojournalism and traditional portraiture so I can adapt to any preference. I love shooting in new places and finding inspiration on the fly.
