About Jewel Younglove

Jewel Montgomery Photography was created to help people capture life beautifully. Jewel is passionate about making one of a kind art pieces that forever capture life's special moments. Jewel has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of San Diego, she double majored in photography and visual communication. Jewel's education provided the opportunity to fine tune her artistic voice, the technical skills to manipulate her art, and the confidence to not follow any of the rules! It is her fearlessness and attention to detail that make her work visually spectacular. It is not only Jewel’s unique eye but also her intuitive understanding of composition, color, lighting and ability to connect with clients that combine to make her artwork memorable.

Jewel’s philosophy when it comes to photography is to make images look like reality just a little prettier. She wants her photography to be an honest interpretation of the moment but from a beautiful composed perspective. Jewel believes that being behind the camera is an honor, and making stunning images to share with the world, her passion.

Jewel shoots modern lifestyle portraiture. Photographing weddings, engagements, families, maternity, animals, events, corporate projects & boudoir.

Apart from photography Jewel has a taste for traveling, she has been to over 20 countries as well as studied art in Florence Italy. She can keep Martha Stewart on her toes in the kitchen, invested in animal rights and environmental activism. She has a passion for fashion and throwing amazing parties. Jewel is a wife, sister, daughter and friend. She met her husband in Italy and got married in an Italian castle a few years later. She is curious, dedicated and driven. Jewel’s search for knowledge, and never being satisfied with mediocrity is what makes her and her art unique. She has an awareness and respect for the world around her and an engaging perspective that keeps you coming back for more.
