  • It rained and poured on this day. We trekked to downtown STL to try some pictures at the Renaissance Grand. I was freaking out because the light was so yellow and we were so rushed, but it worked out better than I thought!
  • This little flowergirl was fun! She ran and hollered the whole way down the aisle, her dad was the best man and she yelled

  • Per the request of my client - there is another shot she wanted to copy but we couldn't get the boys' facial expressions right. They started talking to each other and we created our own modified version!
  • Comfortable shoes, smart bride.

  • Wish the tear on the bride's face was a little more noticeable but I just really like how they are looking at each other. Taken during a very heartfelt and hilarious maid of honor speech.
  • All you had to do was give Jeff a certain look and he knew when to turn it on!
  • She relaxed a little when we found a seated option :)
  • The lighting in this room was HORRIBLE but there were some really bright lights around the mirror that were actually pretty cool!
  • This was taken in an ugly church stairwell. I had just been to a seminar and decided to get all Jerry Ghonis on it and try to make something cool out of it. I loved the result!

  • Trying to get some interesting light WITHOUT the demonstraters in the background.
  • The Arch in St. Louis. There were pro-marijuana people demonstrating EVERYWHERE so our shots were really limited but I was happy with this one.
  • I didn't see this until I got home. I knew a few of them kicked but I couldn't BELIEVE the guys practically doing gymnastics. You could tell they wanted to make their buddy's wedding pics cool and fun :)
  • This was a real, unplanned walk out with the wedding party standing outside because it was hot. I loved that it wasn't fake!
  • I was agonizing over the unluckiness of the hair blowing in her face, but then I kind of liked it. It was windy!
  • My first attempt at this - I like it but I might get up higher next time if it's at all possible.
  • Taken in a parking garage in a dirty corner with wind and rain blowing in. Good job to the bride and groom for being such good actors.
  • A fun generations shoot - Grandpa had the cutest ideas!
  • Usually I don't care for stills and detail shots very much, but I liked how this one happened. The light shining in from the stained glass window was pretty and made a cool reflection on the pew.
  • Sweet little cousin of the bride - she loved holding the girl's bouquets and then realized who was holding the biggest and prettiest one :)
  • I don't like where Grandpa's arm ended up but too cute just the way it happened!
  • The little ringbearer was a trooper and gave her a kiss for us :)
  • We were walking back to the party bus when I saw this tree and asked the couple for one last shot. I had the bride take off her flip flops and I think the bare feet really made it. It helps that they are both gorgeous!
  • Secret delivery from the groom - a special card with a sweet message for the bride. She turned to tell her mom how special it was and I wanted to grab a shot with her in focus and the words on the card visible but out of focus to respect the couple's privacy. It worked!
  • Finally got to do a wedding shot with an umbrella.
  • I didn't realize how masculine this sculpture was when I arranged the shot. I like it :)
  • My second photographer snapped this one - love it.
  • This was one of the most fun receptions I have ever been to!
  • I just like this one :)
  • This groom was great at making his bride laugh. She was sick on her wedding day so real smiles were not as plentiful as usual, but they did great together!
  • St. Anthony of Padua in St. Louis Missouri
  • Not perfect, but when I tried to edit this one I didn't like it as much.
  • I wish I had caughter a more flattering expression on the mother of the bride but still liked the concept.
  • The groom really wanted beers in the picture - whatever works. They were cooperative!
  • These ladies did not want to do this shot. Then we told the bride and mom to look at each other and think about how this was the last time they'd see each other while Rachel was a single woman (yes, channeling Mr. Ghonis again) and I think it worked!
  • Love seeing the groom's face when he goes to take her hand and from her dad :)
