About Michele Menier

My name is Michele and I am a wedding, family and event photographer in Southern California (though I have big aspirations for destination weddings and events as well). I live right smack in-between Los Angeles and Orange County so I won't claim one over the other as my home (though technically, my address is an OC address so....). I have been a photographer for over 5 years and "officially" in business for almost 2 years. I am in HEAVEN.

My photography style tends to lean towards photojournalistic but not because I don't' know how to pose people, it is just how I enjoy shooting! I love utilizing off camera lighting as well and it adds a great element of creativity to my work. Black and white photos are a staple with my photography because of the feeling they convey but I love pops of color equally well.

My passions are my family and friends, photography (duh), the smell of my children, the color red, hoop earrings, little blue boxes, windy days, being on the ocean, books, Jasmine and Gardena (love both smells equally), pedicures and anything sparkly or shiny (I am a girl!!!), cashmere that I can afford and last but not least anything with my monogram on it. I also love a good girls night out, hot wings, Hefiwitzen, dirty martini's and great red wine!

I have a great sense of humor and live life with passion and optimism.
