About TK Edens

Welcome to TK Edens Photography.

We are a husband and wife duo focusing on  weddings, portraits and kids.  We are based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and we love to create amazing photographs.

Yes, we find that the combined (sometimes conflicting) perspectives between us give us a unique take on photography. The result is a creative, inventive and open minded approach. Our style is relaxed, fun and real.  Our goal for your wedding or portrait session is to capture it as it happens, with little direction or distraction.

We believe the photographer must connect with you in order to bring out the emotion and excitement of your special day.  Personality is so important in this business and we try our best to anticipate your needs so your day can be as perfect as possible.

Just as every person is unique, so is every wedding.  Yet it seems that wedding album after wedding album all look the same.  We prefer more of a photojournalistic style to tell a story with our images.  That is why the majority of the shots will be candid but we will also include the traditional posed photos as well.

Weddings have so much natural emotion and excitement and our mission is to capture the event's decisive moments, preserving them to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Portrait photography sessions are very relaxed and fun. I’m an "on location" photographer that will come to you.  Whether it’s to your home, the beach or even a park.  Natural environments make wonderful “backdrops”.  Clothing choices and props are decided by you.
